Our Vision for St. Mark
Living at the Full Scale of Our Potential
St. Mark may be Grenada's smallest parish, but it has never lacked greatness.
Within our borders are fertile agricultural lands, a coastline that has sustained generations of fisherfolk, important historical and cultural landmarks, remarkable natural attractions and communities filled with talent and determination.
Our vision is to unlock the full potential of these resources and create opportunities that improve the lives of our people.
We envision a working coast where fishing creates more income and employment; productive agricultural lands that support farming and agro-processing; a thriving tourism sector that celebrates our history and natural beauty; and communities where young people have access to education, technology, sport and the creative arts.
We envision a parish with safer roads, dependable public services, accessible healthcare and stronger community institutions.
Above all, we envision a St. Mark where residents play an active role in shaping the decisions that affect their lives.
This is the vision behind our People's Manifesto. Seven pillars of development. A plan shaped by the people of St. Mark.
