Caris DeGannes Launches Official Website, Giving St. Mark Residents Greater Access to Her Plans and Vision

St. Mark, Grenada — National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for St. Mark, Caris DeGannes, has launched her official campaign website, providing residents with a dedicated online platform to learn more about her, explore her plans for the constituency and stay informed about campaign activities.

The website forms part of DeGannes's commitment to accessible leadership, open communication and greater community participation.

Under the theme "A New Leader for St. Mark," the website introduces DeGannes, an educator and former Acting Principal of St. Mark's Secondary School, and outlines her vision for the future of the constituency.

A central feature of the platform is The People's Manifesto, a five-year development plan shaped through six community consultation sessions involving 212 residents who identified 266 priorities for the parish.

Visitors can explore the manifesto's seven pillars, which address essential services, roads and infrastructure, fishing, agriculture, youth development, tourism and community empowerment.

Each pillar provides detailed commitments and proposed implementation timelines, allowing residents to better understand the initiatives being proposed for their communities.

The website also includes a dedicated section for news and updates, information about DeGannes's background and leadership priorities, and opportunities for residents to submit questions, share concerns and remain connected with her constituency team.

Importantly, the platform is designed to support future public reporting on manifesto commitments, giving residents a way to follow implementation and monitor progress.

The launch reflects DeGannes's stated approach to leadership, which places emphasis on listening to residents, maintaining regular communication and involving communities in decisions affecting their future.

With the November 5 General Election approaching, the website provides another avenue for residents of St. Mark, including those living abroad, to access information about DeGannes and her proposed development agenda.

Her vision is for St. Mark to become a parish where agriculture and fishing create greater economic opportunities, young people have more avenues to develop their talents, communities benefit from improved services and infrastructure, and the parish's natural and cultural assets are more fully developed.

"St. Mark may be Grenada's smallest parish, but there is nothing small about our potential."

Residents are invited to visit the website to learn more about Caris DeGannes, explore the People's Manifesto and stay informed about activities across the constituency.
